Dave is one of the highest rated instructors in the Sileby and Loughborough area and is currently ranked 15th out of 4600+ driving instructors in the UK. In 2008 Dave was using word of mouth and free internet listing sites to drive his business. As he moved to full-time Dave recognised the need for a site of his own. We met and discussed his requirements and settled on a simple to update site that helped to showcase his high pass rate and satisfied customers.

During the design phase we agreed that testimonials from successful learners would be a powerful tool to engage with prospective clients. I also proposed embedding a clear "Contact Dave" call to action into the bottom of every page to encourage customers to start a dialogue. We also made sure there were separate pages for the key things that learners are keen to find before committing to lessons: price list; contact details; "about the car" and information about additional services (Pass Plus).

We discussed design options, wireframes and I itterated through a few full page designs before implementing the custom Wordpress theme. I gave Dave face-to-face training on how to edit the site and a "how-to" guide to take away.

Following Go-live Dave has used the flexibility that Wordpress offers to make extensive additions to the site himself. He has embedded review and diary javascript widgets and additional pages detailing other services he now offers.
